David Moyes Evening Standard Column
Anybody read it ?

Not a happy bunny

Doesn't tow the party line from the board re Ayew

Says he wanted to leave, yet he tried to keep him

Gold the other night, "David didn't want him...we had a fantastic offer"

The article is full of remarks about how small the squad is and how it's difficult to manage with such a small pool of players.

Apparently the squad are off to Miami for a weeks warm weather training

When DS finally writes out the cheque, it'll probably only get them as far as Colwyn Bay.

The fact that you thought I was serious is more depressing than David Moyes.

Moyes has done alright, steadied the ship to some extent, we will stay up & he will get a longer contract. Mark my words!

I like the way he has spoken in the press and in tv interviews and in actual fact he has down played the injury problems. In terms of the future I would be surprised if he is still in post next season.

Re: David Moyes Evening Standard Column
Sullivan is 100% responsible for the failure to back Moyes in January.
However I fail to understand some of Moyes's selections and substitutions( Antonio on the bench the last couple of games and Cresswell at CB).
Hopefully we will just about survive and we can re-build in the summer. I'd be inclined to go for a younger more progressive manager then. But no doubt Dildo one will go for the cheap alternatives.
It's a depressing outlook whatever happens.

If your not backed and your already small squad is stripped back further there's nothing left but excuses, and that was at Sunderland.

Build under Ron Atkinson they'll be no laziness under him

Hopefully he won't want to stay on and will walk and we can re-build under Alex McLeish or Tony Pulis in the Championship.

He has a lot of excuses doesn't He? Probably had the same ones when finishing bottom of the league last season.

If they keep this washed up manager on, it will be the final humiliation.
